CARROLL WOMEN WIN AT JOHN BRYAN INVITE
MEN CLAIM 3RD
The Carroll cross country teams did not run their top 5 men and women at Tuesday’s John Bryan Invitational, but still ran strong enough to win the women’s race out of 15 teams and take 3rd in the men’s out of 29 teams. Katie Ballman led the Patriots with some aggressive running to finish runner-up in the large field with a time of 20:54. Freshman Tony Holtvoigt was the top Patriot finisher on the men’s side, finishing 14th in 18:02. This was the last race of the year for the Reserve runners and many ended the season with their best times (see results below, with PR Amount showing who got their season best and how much they improved from their best times).
