This meet began in 1994 as the All Ohio Catholic Championships. In 2010 the meet was expanded to the Midwest Catholic Championships (MCC) and invitations are now extended to all Catholic Schools within the 300 mile limits (due to IHSAA restrictions). This unique event can provide a motivating, affordable, over-night experience for teams of all levels across the Midwest! Consider joining us for this unique, fun-filled, first-class event! Compete for the title of Midwest Catholic Champion!
The events start on Friday Sept 23rd with your course preview followed by a delicious pasta dinner and team social/dance, all at the meet site. A festival atmosphere on Saturday features music, awesome assortment of MCC apparel, delicious concessions, exciting races and prestigious awards. The scenic race course includes trails through the woods, creek crossings, and a couple short, challenging hills. (This course is the site of the post-season MidEast Cross Country Championships for seniors.) We run all teams together, but present team and individual awards in two Divisions (based on school size: Ohio Division I and Division II/III). Middle School races and awards will not be separated into divisions.
Coaches: Make the Midwest Catholic Championships your motivating, over-night trip. The logistics are easy with the affordable pasta dinner on-site (only $5 per person) and nearby lodging options.
