The Tiffin Invite is the 2^nd largest meet in the country and probably the most competitive in the state. There were 27 women’s teams and 32 men’s teams in the Div IA races (the best of the best.) Katie Flaute and Leighann Kramer both ran their best times of the year to lead the team with an impressive 5-6 finish. Lynda Wourms and Molly Holbrook also ran their season bests. In the reserve race, Ryan Anne Burns showed varsity potential by cutting over a minute off her previous best time. Stephanie VanDerSluijs took 20 seconds off her best as well. In the Men’s race, Mike LaSelle ran a strong 16:50 for 19^th to lead the Patriots. Others running season best times were Steven Brooks, Peter Christoff, Aaron Davis, James Harrigan, Mike Nartker, Dan Rush, Joe Russ, and James Borchers.

The rest of the trip was great fun! Dan Rush was crowned Wrestle-Rama Champion and everyone enjoyed the performance by the Hawaiian Dancers. Sunday was a fun-filled day at Cedar Point – the Tower of Power rules! Everyone should have a goal to make the top 14 next year and be a part of this trip.
